I AM RED REV

We exist to heal God’s image bearers under the authority of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit’s love through teaching, demonstrating the power of God’s love through books and films, inner and physical healing, and setting people free from torment to advance the love and kingdom of God.

I AM RED REV, explores unity amongst people groups in the United States and worldwide. It seeks to train men and practitioners to understand the physical and spiritual war. The love of God the Father is of most importance.

Documentaries and Photos from travel

ANUMASA (INEXHAUSTIBLE WATER) is an award-winning short Docu-film shot by a team of four in 10 days covering the other side of slavery. Most know about the whitewashed version of the Trans-Atlantic, Middle passage, slave trade and slavery in the Americas; but most do not know about the slave raids, slave markets and slave dungeons that preceded the Trans-Atlantic taking place on the coast and in the heart of West Africa, specifically in Ghana. ANUMASA (INEXHAUSTIBLE WATER) is a short docu-film told from the voice of Ghanaians' on what preceded the Middle passage–raids, deals, and markets–in the Southern and Northern parts of Ghana. This short docu-film shows a compelling truth omitted from history. After viewing the gruesome realities of what people made it through in this short docu-film, you will come to understand the strength and hope of Ghana's word and its people in their embodiment of ANUMASA–INEXHAUSTIBLE WATER.
MUY DIFÍCIL is an award winning short docu-film (with English subtitles) by a creative team of five shot in ten days (June 21st-June 30th) on the present day Venezuelan crisis spill over into Colombia. The docu-film uses one main interview (Evelin Niño) foundationally intertwined with five others (Maria, Jessica, Fabio, Roman, and Alfredo) to communicate the current desperation of millions in Venezuela in light of the crisis that currently leaves many in a catastrophic situation of literal famine as they try to now find food, safety, medicine and work to live–with some walking by foot over 200 miles. This docu-film is not a thing of the past but a plea to help those in need, now, as many solutions require people not in the crisis to bring about a redemptive reality for their fellow brothers and sisters of humanity. Take the journey through vibrant cultural and emotional landscapes as you come to understand why everyone in the documentary called the current state of affairs MUY DIFÍCIL.
This is intended to be a short film done through interview form that sees the director reflect on his time, along with the team, in southern Europe covering the immigration crisis. This Mediterranean sea crossing is considered the most dangerous border today. While a host of the footage is seen depicting this border we wanted to answer the question "how are the refugees and migrants" doing once they make it? With this film of reflection, we wanted to uncover what the life of refugees and migrants are going through after they make this "deadly" journey.

Vision: This footage explores my time in Nepal while on assignment to cover one of their most important festivals, Dashain, and the indigenous Christian worship music (heard under the 6:30 sec montage). Nepal for me is a country of many angles, no traffic lights, car lanes, light to no traffic law enforcement, many perspectives, textures, colors, lifestyles, and livelihoods. The country and people of Nepal are beautiful, but my heart breaks for them because I believe what they are following as a religious practice is a lie, a fable. I wanted to show the greatness of God's common grace to give them such a rich culture be it street food to market sellers to side conversations and country-side while showing you the religious practices of idol worship and sacrifice. I believe in the truth of Christ Kingdom manifest being the highest form of love anyone can experience, and thinking a nation so beautiful is caught in the snare of the enemy to do his will breaks my soul for them. Lord have mercy...Lord forgive them for they know not what they do. Artistic direction: The goal of the footage and editing direction shows four major acts/transitions with foundational bookends being the church in Nepal praying and singing for the kingdom to come as the intro and outro. Note: each scene transition has car footage to move the viewer from one site to another. Intro bookend: Quote from A.D. Thomason with a sermon snippet from David Platt transitioning into the local Nepal Christians finishing up a prayer for their nation. Setting 1: Boudhanath Stupa This is where people walk around in a circle, conversing, praying, clicking away prayer beads, turning prayer spindles, getting up and lying prostrate in hopes to earn favor and blessing for the next life. Setting 2: Durbar Square Here you see people standing in long lines waiting to offer up a myriad of gifts and sacrifices to their gods. This is where the goat sacrifice in the footage takes place. I wanted to show a good number of angles of what happens during the festival from the girl with her head down, to the little girl putting blessings on people's heads, to the merchants selling animals to the sacrifice themselves. I was told by the people there that Dashain, their major festival, is celebrated over 9 days and celebrates 9 different gods. We were there for four out of the nine days of the festival. Setting 3: Bungamati This is a part of the rural countryside in Nepal, very lush and green. I wanted to add this element as well to the footage to show a different type of living that was peaceful, surreal almost, and beautiful. I love that we stumbled upon a shepherd and his sheep grazing amidst self-made altars. Setting 4: Pashupatinath Temple The site where loved ones mourn and burn their beloved in hopes to aid in the reincarnation process. Outro bookend: David Platt's sermon starting at Pashupatinath and ending with the countryside and continued worship music of the local Nepali people playing underneath ( meaning from my understanding Lord to reveal himself that all people will worship you, we worship you, we bless you, you are our peace). Credits: Sermon: by David Platt Worship Music playing underneath the images: by the indigenous Nepali people who follow Jesus Gear: BMCC, Mavic Pro, IPhone 6s I used my black magic pocket cinema camera, Mavic Pro drone, and iPhone 6s and intentionally broke a ton of rules. I don't believe in rules but using fundamentals creatively to break rules to give a fresh approach. I believe it gave a fair picture of Nepal and its people, for the reason I was sent.
